We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards across all pages of this site.

    Measures Taken

    • High contrast colour combinations (minimum 4.5:1 ratio)
    • All interactive elements are keyboard navigable
    • All images have descriptive alt text
    • Form fields have associated labels
    • Map pins have text alternatives for screen readers
    • Font sizes are resizable without loss of function
    • Emergency information is clearly prioritised
    • Large tap targets (minimum 48×48px) for mobile accessibility
    • No hover-dependent functionality — all features accessible via tap or keyboard
    • No autoplay video or audio
    • Semantic HTML used throughout (headings, landmarks, lists)

    Known Limitations

The interactive map may present challenges for screen reader users. A text-based station list view is available as an alternative.
