    1. Acceptance

    By using FuelFinder Ireland you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use this service.

    2. Nature of Service

    FuelFinder Ireland is a community information tool. It is not a government service, not an emergency service, and not affiliated with any fuel retailer, Fuels for Ireland, An Garda Síochána, the Irish Defence Forces, the Department of Energy, any oil company, any political party, any protest organisation, or any public authority. We have no commercial relationship with any fuel station. We do not profit from fuel prices or availability. This site exists solely to help Irish people find fuel.

    3. Data Accuracy Disclaimer

    All fuel availability and price data on this site is submitted by members of the public and is entirely unverified. FuelFinder Ireland does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data. Prices and availability may change at any time without notice. You should always verify at the pump before making a journey, especially a long one.

    4. Limitation of Liability

    To the fullest extent permitted by Irish and EU law, FuelFinder Ireland, its operators, and its data controller shall not be liable for:

    • Any loss arising from reliance on inaccurate data
    • Wasted journeys or fuel costs
    • Vehicle damage caused by acting on information from this site
    • Financial loss of any kind
    • Any indirect, consequential or special damages

    Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

    5. AI-Generated Content

    This site uses artificial intelligence to generate summaries and provide conversational assistance. AI-generated content is clearly labelled as such in compliance with the EU AI Act (Regulation 2024/1689). AI responses may be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. Do not make important decisions based solely on AI-generated content.

    6. Data Sources & Attribution

    Data displayed in this application may be sourced from the following. All intellectual property, copyright, and trademarks in the original data remain with the respective owners. FuelFinder Ireland is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any of these organisations:

    • AA Ireland (theaa.ie) — Average fuel price data is referenced from AA Ireland's publicly available fuel price surveys. AA Ireland retains all intellectual property rights in their data. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by AA Ireland.
    • Community/user-submitted reports — Unverified reports submitted voluntarily by users of this application. We do not verify or guarantee the accuracy of any user-submitted data.
    • News headlines — We link to articles published by RTÉ, The Irish Times, Irish Independent, BBC News, Dublin Live, South East Radio, Wexford Weekly, Fortune, Associated Press (AP), E&E News (Politico), RSVP Live, and other publishers. We do not reproduce, copy, summarise, or republish their content. Headlines and titles are displayed for informational linking purposes only under fair dealing principles (Irish Copyright and Related Rights Act 2000, Section 51). All linked content remains hosted on the original publisher's site. We claim no ownership of or affiliation with any news organisation.
    • Public information — Crisis situation data is compiled from publicly available government and news sources (gov.ie, RTÉ, Wikipedia). Government data from gov.ie is used under the Re-use of Public Sector Information Regulations (S.I. No. 279/2005).     • Station names and brands — Brand names such as Circle K, Applegreen, Maxol, Emo, Certa, Tesco, Centra, Gala, and Costcutter are registered trademarks of their respective owners. Their use on this site is purely factual and informational. We have no commercial relationship with any fuel retailer or brand.

    If you are the owner or authorised representative of any data source referenced above and wish for your content to be removed, please contact legal@fuelfinderireland.com. We will comply promptly with all legitimate requests. See Section 13 (Content Removal & Takedown Requests) below.

    7. User Conduct

    You must not:

    • Submit false or deliberately misleading fuel reports
    • Use this service to harass, harm or deceive others
    • Scrape, copy, republish or commercialise any data from this site (see Database Rights below)
    • Attempt to circumvent anti-abuse measures
    • Use automated tools to submit reports

    8. Database Rights

    The compilation of fuel station data, availability records, and price history on this site constitutes a database protected under the EU Database Directive (96/9/EC) and the European Communities (Legal Protection of Databases) Regulations 2001 (S.I. No. 513/2001) as transposed into Irish law. Substantial investment has been made in obtaining, verifying and presenting this data.

    Unauthorised extraction and/or re-utilisation of the whole or a substantial part of this database is prohibited and may give rise to civil liability and criminal penalties under the Irish Copyright and Related Rights Act 2000.

    9. Anti-Scraping

    Automated scraping of this site is expressly prohibited. By accessing this site you accept this prohibition as a legally binding condition of use. This constitutes a browse-wrap agreement enforceable under Irish law.

    10. Content You Submit

    By submitting a fuel report you grant FuelFinder Ireland a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and use that report on this platform. You confirm the report is accurate to your knowledge. You accept responsibility for the accuracy of your submissions.

    11. False Reporting

    Deliberately submitting false fuel availability data during a declared national emergency may constitute a harmful act under Irish law. FuelFinder Ireland reserves the right to report patterns of deliberate abuse to An Garda Síochána and other relevant authorities.

    12. Content Moderation

    All user-submitted content is subject to automated moderation. Comments containing offensive, defamatory, abusive, threatening, or inappropriate language will be automatically rejected. We reserve the right to remove any content at our sole discretion without notice.

    13. Content Removal & Takedown Requests

    If you are the owner or authorised representative of any content, data, trademark, or intellectual property referenced on this application and you wish for it to be removed, please contact us immediately at legal@fuelfinderireland.com or via our contact form. We will promptly comply with all legitimate removal requests.

    Please include: your name and contact details, a description of the content you wish removed, the reason for your request, and evidence of your authority to request removal.

    We aim to respond within 48 hours and remove content within 5 business days of receiving a valid request.

    14. DSA Compliance (Digital Services Act)

    FuelFinder Ireland operates as a hosting service under the EU Digital Services Act (Regulation 2022/2065) as implemented in Ireland by the Digital Services Act 2024. In accordance with DSA obligations:

    • Users may flag any content as illegal or inaccurate using the Flag button on any listing
    • Notices of illegal content should be sent to: legal@fuelfinderireland.com
    • We will act expeditiously to review and remove illegal content upon notification
    • This service is operated by a micro-enterprise and benefits from proportionate DSA obligations

    15. Non-Commercial

    This is a free, non-commercial public tool. No fees, subscriptions, or payments are required. No advertisements are displayed. No revenue is generated from any data displayed.

    16. Third-Party Trademarks & Intellectual Property

    All brand names, trademarks, service marks, trade names, logos, and company names displayed on this site — including but not limited to Circle K, Applegreen, Maxol, Emo, Certa, Tesco, Centra, Gala, Costcutter, AA Ireland, RTÉ, The Irish Times, Irish Independent, BBC, Dublin Live, South East Radio, Wexford Weekly, Fortune, Associated Press, E&E News, Politico, RSVP Live, Fuels for Ireland, and OpenStreetMap — are the property of their respective owners.

    17. Fair Dealing & Fair Use

    Where headlines or factual information from third-party sources appear on this site, they are used under the fair dealing provisions of the Irish Copyright and Related Rights Act 2000 (Section 51 — Criticism, Review and News Reporting) and/or under the EU InfoSoc Directive (2001/29/EC) Article 5(3)(c). We do not reproduce, copy, or republish any articles, images, or substantial portions of third-party content. All links direct to the original publisher's website.

    18. Indemnification

    You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FuelFinder Ireland, its operators, and its data controller from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of this service, your submission of data, or your violation of these Terms.

    19. Governing Law

    These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
